Lübeck, May 24, 2018. SLM Solutions Group AG, a leading provider of metal-based additive manufacturing technology, is going to exhibit at 3D PRINT 2018 at booth C12 in Hall 1 from June 5 to 7. The Lübeck company is taking part as an exhibitor and program planner at the Congress Fair in Lyon.
Visitors can expect a wide range of new developments, conferences and workshops at 3D PRINT. More than 100 speakers, experts and users will report on the latest developments and their own experiences with additive manufacturing technology. At booth C12 in Hall 1, SLM Solutions will present the entire bandwidth of the additive SLM® selective laser melting technology: processes, machines, materials and services.
The machine SLM®280 2.0 will be at the heart of the trade fair exhibit of SLM Solutions, which handles the complete process chain (closed loop) of additive manufacturing: from data generation to the melting process and all the way to powder recovery and recycling. The SLM®280 is the ideal "all-purpose system" for both R+D divisions as well as for production processes using SLM® procedures. Measuring 280 x 280 x 365 mm³, the machine has one of the largest build envelopes in its class as well as patented multi-beam technology. The powerful 700 W lasers, which expose the build field during the build process via 3D scan optics, further shorten build times.
In addition to the exhibition, SLM Solutions is supporting the exhibition with a workshop. Ralf Frohwerk, Global Head of Business Development at SLM Solutions Group AG, will present the topic “3D metal printing with selective laser melting technology is on the way to series production in the automotive industry.”
Based on various examples from actual practice, the SLM® team will explain what the advantages are in redesigning of conventional components in the additive manufacturing process and how these can be integrated into lean, competitive production processes. Experts are looking forward to having intensive discussions and exchanges with you at trade fair booth C12 in Hall 1.
