SLM ADDS ADDCREATIVE TECHNOLOGY TO ITS PORTFOLIO
As you may have already heard, we're thrilled to announce that SLM will add the addcreative technology to its portfolio, boosting our additive manufacturing capabilities. The large-scale metal AM machine formerly known as addcreator complements our line-up, supporting up to 12 lasers on a 1m by 1m platform.
This move strengthens our product portfolio and adds flexibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness to our offerings, making it an attractive option for a wide range of applications in industries such as Aerospace, Energy, and Defense.

The power of depowdering — Our collaboration with Grenzebach Group to develop an automated depowdering solution is another testament to team work making the dream work! As stated by Sebastian Feist, Product Manager Factory Integration & Periphery, SLM Solutions "We chose Grenzebach due to their many years of experience in development, automation, and handling of heavy components. We are very happy with the project and the final solution, which has already been delivered to customers all over the world. SLM PRINTED SUB COMES IN FIRST IN COMPETITION
Team Bumblebee recently triumphed at the Robosub 2023 competition by RoboNation in San Diego. Their Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), AUV 4.1, (printed with SLM technology) impressed with enhanced capabilities, including quadrupled compute power, a new hydraulic suction, and 3D pose estimation. As champions from Robosub 2022, they proudly secured 1st Place Overall and 2nd in Design Documentation. Team Bumblebee's victory at the Robosub 2023 competition is a testament to innovation and we are proud to be a part of such a great project!
